lyrics

there once was a king
who owned a brave queen
and i got beheaded
for airing what's wrong
i said rule your life
but you can't rule the world
it's just when you're weak
that it's so important to look strong

the queen came around
the king was not home
so i stuffed the furry beast
we had a lovely feast
the queen stayed around
and when we awoke
the queen was full of recollection
and sad at her selection
the queen came around
to the king's strange addictions
when i stuffed the lovely queen
with my convictions

there once was a king
who owned a brave queen
who went back to tell him
she thinks something's wrong
she said "rule your life
but you can't rule your world
it's just cuz you're weak
that you try to look so strong"
the king was confused
his toy has been broken
so he humored the weak queen
"things will be better again"
the king laid her down
exploiting her weakness
just then realised
where her ears had been

he said "you wait here
and don't you get dressed!"
then i saw the face
of all jealousness

i saw the king cry
then he went back to fight
he wont let her find her coat
and me, i've got this lump in my throat.
